WEATHER WARNING: Nottinghamshire issued with amber weather warning

An amber warning has been issued for the East Midlands as 60 mph winds and severe rain is set to hit Nottinghamshire from 5am tomorrow.

Residents are being warned to take care and avoid travel if possible.

The Environment Agency website has information on floods, and issues a flood warning notice - updated every 15 minutes - during severe weather.

Severe weather warnings can also be monitored on the Met Office website www.metoffice.co.uk.
