Weather forecast for Nottinghamshire: chilly start to the week before weekend scorcher

Cloud and intermittent rain will be clearing from east this evening, perhaps briefly sunny before dusk in west.

It will be dry overnight and with clear periods forming, it will become chilly. Winds will be light. Minimum temperature 5 °C.

Monday will be mainly dry with sunny spells, and chance of light coastal shower. Feeling cool near coasts with the northerly breeze persisting, but becoming more pleasant inland. Dry, but chilly overnight. Maximum temperature 18 °C.

It will be dry, with pleasantly warm sunshine on Tuesday and light winds. Becoming cloudier, cooler on Wednesday and Thursday with outbreaks of rain or showers, perhaps sometimes heavy, with strengthening winds.

Next weekend and into the start of the following week, should see the driest brightest weather across northern areas of the UK.
