Which council services should be cut?

RESIDENTS in Bulwell are being asked to have their say over which services should be protected from cuts as Nottingham City Council faces a further slash in its budget of £22 million.

About 5,000 people responded to last year’s Your City Your Services survey online and in ‘The Arrow’ magazine after cuts of £60 million in government funding.

The new survey is contained in this month’s edition of ‘The Arrow’, which is distributed to properties across the city and is available online at www.mynottingham.gov.uk/yourcityyourservices.

Coun Graham Chapman (Lab), deputy leader of Nottingham City Council, said: “With a good response to our survey last year, we are keen to involve citizens in this process before making decisions that will have an impact on services.”
