Cherubs nurseries in Somersall Street and Wynndale Drive, Mansfield, as well as those in Pleasley and Ravenshead beat off competition from thousands of competitors to be recipients of the daynurseries.co.uk Top 20 Awards for the region.

And mums and dads not only believed the Cherubs nurseries were among the best 20, their feedback pushed all four into the top 10.

Manager of Cherubs Wynndale Heather Nash said: “We were elated when we found out.

“It’s great for the parents who are thinking of sending their children, they can see what kind of a family-orientated place we are.”

The daynurseries.co.uk awards allow the parents or carers of the children to submit reviews to the website.

It acts as a popular method of giving opinions on settings - more than 50,000 reviews have been published - allowing people to make recommendations to other parents looking for nurseries, independent of the nurseries themselves.

Nikki Wilkinson of Cherubs Pleasley said: “These reviews are special as they are written by our parents which means a great deal to myself and the staff.”
