Woman in hospital after serious injury at a Mansfield restaurant.

It understood the woman had tried to harm herself in the toilets of the ll Rosso restaurant on Nottingham Road last night.

A Nottinghamshire police spokesman said; “Officers were called at around 7pm last night (22 November 2016) in regards to the concern for the safety of a woman.

“A woman, 28, was found at the scene in Mansfield and was taken to hospital.

“Her injuries are not being treated as suspicious at this time and she remains in a serious condition.”

The restaurant has refused to comment on the incident.
