Woman posing as nurse steals cash from elderly woman

A stiletto-booted woman posed as a nurse to get inside the Bulwell home of an elderly woman - and then stole £350 of the pensioner’s cash.

Police have released images of the woman after the appalling theft which took place on Wednesday 14th January, on Cinderhill Road.

Not content with conning one old woman out of cash, she then tried her luck at another property on Drysdale Close, asking to use the phone. Without permission, she followed the elderly female victim into her house, but was told to go and left empty-handed.

The suspect is described as white, aged between 25 and 40, of slim build, 5’ 3” tall, wearing a thigh-length dark, puffa jacket, white bobble hat with ear flaps and black boots with a heel.

She was carrying a large, black handbag. She spoke with a local accent.
