Woman seriously injured after being hit by a car
A woman has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after she was knocked down by a car near Mansfield town centre.
Police are appealing for witnesses after the collision in the early hours of this morning.
Officers were called to St Peter’s Way, near the junction with Bath Lane, at about 1.50am after the woman was hit by a silver Honda Civic.

Hide AdThe pedestrian, a woman in her 20s, was taken to Queen’s Medical Centre.
Anyone who may have seen the woman or the Honda Civic is being asked to contact police on 101 referencing incident 86 of November 29.
