Workman trapped under wall with serious injuries at Mansfield’s Severn Trent Sewage Works

Police have confirmed that a workman has sustained serious injuries after being trapped under a wall at Severn Trent Sewage Works, Bath Lane.

The spokesman said they received a call to the facility at 2.30pm today (Thursday) and the man was currently being treated by a paramedic.

She said the Health and Safety Executive would be referring the matter to its inspectors.
