Hayden Rhys Wilkinson, 20, of Ramsden Crescent, Carlton-in-Lindrick, admitted being drunk and disorderly on the night of July 2.

Police were called after midnight, said Robert Carr, prosecuting, after neighbours complained he had been shouting drunkenly in the street and waking up children.

Wilkinson was warned to stop by police but he continued to argue with other householders for no reason, and was arrested.

The court heard he had been cautioned for the same offence in 2014.

Wilkinson, who represented himself, told Mansfield magistrates: “It was stupid. It won’t happen again. I split with my girlfriend.”

He was given a six month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £85 court costs and a £20 victim surcharge.
