The pressure was on in the Long Eaton School Heat of the RIBI Young Chef competition. It was a contest between Sophie Dance, Orionn Carmichael and Scott Cope. Students had been set the task of preparing a healthy three course meal using local sourced and fresh produce for no more than £15. Scott was the winner and will now go on to compete against the winning young chefs from neighbouring schools in the regional heat. This will be judged by local chefs and restaurant owners.
