Forty-three young people were confirmed in Southwell Minster on Saturday 21sth March by the Rt Revd Richard Inwood, Acting Bishop of Southwell & Nottingham, and the Rt Revd Tony Porter, Bishop of Sherwood.
Bishop Tony said: “The confirmation of 43 young people at the Minster was an inspiring occasion.
“A number of young people shared their personal stories and their journey of faith and were involved in the readings and the leading of prayers.
“One of the most moving parts of the service was the conclusion, when prayers were read by a grandparent, a parent and a young person.
