Pupils from primary schools across the Dispatch district have left their primary years behind them as they prepare for secondary school.
Year 6 youngsters celebrated the end of SATs tests and their time at their first school with special assemblies, performances, day trips, barbecues and discos.
Children from Beardsall Street Primary in Hucknall held a prom on 19th July which has been organised by several parents. A trip to Mansfield Superbowl was also enjoyed funded by the school friends fundraising group and a leavers’ assembly was held on the last day for the whole school in the morning and parents/carers in the afternoon.
Meanwhile pupils from National Primary took part in a performance of Oliver for parents and youngsters to see and Holy Cross Primary held a presentation day on 19th July and Bulwell’s Rufford Primary, Cantrel and Crabtree Farm held a leavers’ assembly.
