Problems were an insult to heroes who gave lives on front line

FOR nearly 50 years we have attended the Remembrance Service on Tichfield Park in Hucknall. Once again the townspeople of Hucknall have been let down by the organisers of the public address system at this service.

Year after year the sound system gets worse and we can barely follow the service.

This is an insult to the fallen of this town and the people who go to this service to remember them. Even the names of the heroes on the new plaque could not be heard clearly and people were walking away in disgust.

Something must be done to improve on this affair for next year or aren’t our dead heroes worth the trouble and
