Chance to have a goat bowls

Following a successful Play Bowls Day, Hucknall Titchfield Park Bowls Club is continuing to offer free opportunities to anyone interested in having a go at the sport.

There will be further opportunities on Saturday, from 1pm-3pm; Thursday, 27th April, from 6pm-8pm; and Saturday, 29th April, from 1pm-3pm.

A club spokesman said it had a lovely bowling green and modern facilities that helped players enjoy a great sport and meet new friends.

“A proven feature of playing lawn bowls is the health benefits it delivers, both physical and mental,” he said.

“New players of any age are welcome and the club provides all the equipment necessary to get started.”
