The Plums have lost only once so far this year, and with Sam Storey having passed 200 runs for the season so far will be looking to close the 28 point gap to Clifton.

Thanks to achieving extra bonus points at the weekend, Cuckney now sit second, just six points behind Clifton.

They welcome bottom dogs Mansfield Hosiery Mills to Langwith Road for a key clash at both ends of the table.

Showing their all-round ability, Cuckney have two batsmen in the top 10 run scorers and two bowlers in the top 10 wicket-takers.

For the Millers, it’s been mostly a tale of their powerful top three bats setting them up.

Tom New became the first past the 300 run mark this season, and Gareth Curtis sits second in the league just 20 runs behind. Matt New is a mere three runs outside the top 10.

The potential game of the day takes place at Derby, where third-placed Rolls Royce Leisure entertain the West Indian Cavaliers.

Defeat for the defending champions could see their hopes of a repeat triumph fade a little further, they currently sit 16 points behind the undefeated Rolls side.

Caythorpe host Kimberley Institute with both teams looking to break from the mid-table pack and try to join the title chasers.

Both sides have experienced an up and down year so far, fluctuating between championship and relegation form from week to week.

At All Hallows Street, Ordsall Bridon will continue the search for their first win, when Welbeck Colliery come to town.

A win for the home side would potentially lift them away from the relegation zone, and pull the Colliers down into it, while the visitors could really cast the bottom four adrift with a win.

The day’s remaining fixture is a key relegation clash as two winless teams meet at Lady Bay.

The Notts Academy side are going through something of a rebuilding year and have struggled so far.

It’s been a similar tale of strife for their visitors, with Radcliffe-on-Trent having avoided defeat on just one occasion so far.

Both sides have been finding wickets difficult to come by, but will each be hopeful of taking the 10 required for a win on Saturday.

All games are scheduled to commence at 12.30pm.
