Cuckney travelled to fourth place Caythorpe in the only one of the day’s matches to start on time. Three balls later they were off for 90 minutes. There would be two other stoppages before play was finally abandoned with 33 overs bowled.

The visitors had made 82-4, thanks to an unbroken 56 run stand between Adam Burgess and Lewis Bramley (30 not out).

Ben Powell took all four wickets to fall at a cost of 34 runs.

With everyone collecting six points, the table remains unchanged as we head into the final third of the season.
