Rolls Royce win showdown to leapfrog Cuckney to the top of the table

Jack McIver (64) and Jamie Peat (39) put on 99 for the second wicket but they lost regular wickets thereafter with spinners Hassan Azad (5-31) and Wood (3-47) doing the damage.

The closest game of the day took place at Caythorpe where the home side secured a winning draw against Kimberley.

The home side were restricted to 185-9 with Josh Mierkalns (37) and Andrew Staszkiewicz (34) contributing most and Chris Glover taking 3-28 from 15 overs of left arm spin.

Run-scoring has been a problem for Kimberley all season, but they got within eight runs of their target for the loss of eight wickets, thanks to 36 from Sam Johnson and 31 not out from Alex King. Jim Hindson led the wicket-takers with figures of 4-66 from 15 overs and Tim Haines was his usual frugal self with 3-19 from his 15-over spell.

The final match saw Mansfield Hosiery Mills notch up their fifth victory of the season with an eight wicket win over Welbeck at Sookholme.

The home side were bowled out for 162 in 47.2 overs with Matt New (4-39) and Matt Wright (3-38) leading the attack.

Jonny Loates top-scored with 60, supported by Andrew Merchant with 30.

Tom New has become the master of the run-chase and again excelled with an unbeaten innings of 86 as he and Sudesh Fernando (37 not out) saw the visitors home with an unbeaten stand of 74 for the third wicket.
