Basford United boss looking for a response in the cup
Basford United travel to Loughborough Dynamo in the First Round of the Northern Premier Integro League Cup on Tuesday (7.45).
Basford will be looking to bounce back after their defeat at the weekend and manager Martin Carruthers said: “This is a competition we want to do well in and we will going to Loughborough intending to win.
“We have a few injuries though so we will give a few of our fringe players a chance to show what they can do at first team level.
“Loughborough have some good players so it will be a good test for those we bring in.”
