Basford United the 'perfect fit' for Kyle Dixon

The midfielder rejoined the club in April from Newark Flowserve but, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, he is yet to feature for the side since his return.

But that doesn’t stop the former Notts County and Boston United man looking forward.

“It’s the perfect fit for me,” said Dixon, who played under Steve Chettle at Ilkeston Town.

“I’ve been at the club before. I like the place, I know the club and the chairman and know they want to be successful.

“It’s five minutes from my house, so it’s easy for family and friends who want to come and watch as well. I’m looking forward to playing again.”
