BLOG: Brilliant week for Stags fans ends in fantastic win, despite '˜garbage' officiating

After a brilliant week in the world of being a Stags fan, with good work from Adam Murray bringing in a new player and keeping one permanentlt, it finished with a fantastic win and a double this season over Morecambe.

It was thoroughly deserved against the 12 men that we came up against all game.

Right I now start my blog with the news on deadline day of the signing of Daniel Alfei from Swansea on loan until the end of season.

Welcome Daniel and good luck in a Stags shirt.

After the news last week that Nicky Hunt was going to Leyton Orient, he left and signed for them and we’ll see at the end of the season if he’s a big miss or not.

We then had some more good news that loanee James Baxendale was staying permanently for 18 months which is brilliant news, as he has done really well since he has signed.

Welcome to the Stags James and hopefully in 18 months we will be playing in League One.

We now have three wins in a row and I think we need this momentum with the upcoming fixtures we have this week.

It was a cracking game on Saturday if you were a neutral but not if you’re a Stags fan as always.

Shearer’s two penalty saves were immense and he is an absolute legend.

A big well done to Matty Blair for the goal and Krystian Pearce as well and a mention for the little Scouse legend Jamie McGuire.

I thought the referee was absolute garbage and got both penalty decisions wrong.

He was by far the worst I’ve ever seen at Stags and we get a bad ref every game at home.

I’m going to mention the atmosphere, as I thought it was awesome and I loved every bit of losing my voice.

It is now a massive game on Tuesday against another top five team so anything from this game and Plymouth would be extremely good.

Good luck this week to Muzza and the players and make us even more proud.

Come on Adam Murray’s barmy army and COYS.
