Chad Mansfield Town player ratings in fine display against Oldham

Mansfield Town's players were left frustrated as their superb performance against Oldham Athletic earned only a point as the game ended 0-0 at the One Call Stadium last night.

Here are Chad sports editor John Lomas’ marks out of 10 for the impressive starting XI.

Stags dominated the game, barely letting the Latics out of their own half, and created a wealth of good chances but were unable to find a winner.

All three subs were used with Will Atkinson (7) playing the second half at wing back in place of striker Tyler Walker and doing well, a performance only marred only by missing a diving header from four yards out which looked easier to score at the death

Craig Davies (6) came on for Otis Khan for the last 20 minutes against his old club but could not find a goal while midfielder Jacob Mellis (7) returned from a three game ban for a 13-minute cameo in place of Timi Elsnik and probed well at a resilient Oldham defence.
