Mansfield Town have today announced a change of opposition for their opening pre-season friendly in Portugal on Saturday.
The Stags had been scheduled to take on Scottish Premier League Dundee at 6pm at a 200-capacity complex.
Instead they will now play Portugese Primeira Liga outfit Vitória Sport Clube at the home of Guia Football Club in Albufeira at 11.15am.
A Stags spokesman said: “Unforeseen circumstances had led the club’s original friendly match with Dundee to be cancelled.
“However, we have acted swiftly to arrange a new training match for our supporters who have travelled to Portugal.
“The new kick-off time of 11.15am will also enable Stags’ supporters to watch our training fixture and subsequently England’s World Cup quarter-final match against Sweden at 3pm, at their leisure.”
The new venue for the stadium has a capacity of approximately 600, with a seating and refreshment area - entrance is free.
The full addresss for the stadium is: Complexo desportivo Arsenio Catuna, Guia, Albufeira.
The Stags’ squad arrived at their training base on Monday and will return to the UK this coming Monday.
