Could your school benefit from Mansfield Town training sessions?

Schools around Mansfield and Ashfield can help boost their students' football skills with a visit from Mansfield Town.

The schools are being invited to apply for visits by the club, which would see first team players coaching pupils fundamental football skills.

The scheme aims to help the club further enhance community relations and as boost the numbers of youngsters playing football.

The visits will see the players coach pupils for approximately 30-40 minutes before taking part in a question and answer session.

Last year, defender Rhys Bennett and striker Danny Rose coached over 60 students at All Saints RC Academy before answering questions in the school’s drama hall as part of a hugely successful visit.

The invitation is open to both primary and secondary schools in the county and demand is expected to be high.
