Football Rumours: Sterling tells Liverpool he wont go on tour as Manchester City prepare £50m bid

Wantaway Liverpool and England star Raheem Sterling has reportedly told Liverpool he will not go on the club’s pre-seaon tour, report The Sun.

It is the latest in the long running saga, which could see him leave for Manchester City for £50m.

Liverpool have been told they will have to pay £32.5m if they are to sign Aston Villa’s Belgium striker Christian Benteke, 24. (Daily Star)

City have also warned Roma that they will have to pay £20m if they want Bosnia striker Edin Dzeko.

Crystal Palace have reached an agreement with Paris St-Germain for France international Yohan Cabaye, with the former Newcastle midfielder costing a club record £10m.

The Daily Mirror claim Everton manager Roberto Martinez has bid £8m for Crystal Palace defender Scott Dann but have been told they may have to double their offer for the 28-year-old.
