Julian Winter resigns as Notts County chief executive

A notice period has been agreed with the board and Mr Winter will remain in his position whilst a full handover of duties takes place.

Upon the announcement Mr Winter said: “There have been a lot of changes at the club over recent weeks and I want to stress that my resignation is not in light of these changes.”

“I came here with a clear plan of how to take this club forward and it is with regret that I have not been able to complete this important work.”

The club will make no further comment at this time. A further announcement will be made in due course.
