Mansfield Town boss looking forward to family support

Glaswegian Steve Evans expects family and friends to head south and help cheer Mansfield Town on to victory at Carlisle United on Saturday.

The Stags manager said: “They will be sneaking over the border!

“My brother doesn’t get out of Scotland many times so I think he’s looking for the border security as he drives down towards Carlisle!

“There will be a couple of cars coming down from Glasgow – and I think Zander Diamond has some people coming down as well.

“It’s always great to go to northern parts and get to see some family and friends you only probably get to see annually in the summertime.”
