Mansfield Town's international stars past and present

Mansfield Town have rarely had current internationals in the side in the past but have had a rush of them in recent seasons with games actually cancelled for international weekends last season for the first time.

If new loan signing Conor Shaughnessy or Ryan Sweeney can achieve their ambition of a full Irish call-up then that could happen again this season. Here are some of the club's international stars past and present.

Retired former Stags keeper Ward received his first call-up to the Wales U21s squad while at Mansfield in 1995, though had moved to Notts County the following year before he was given his first game. He went on to star for Forest and Sunderland.
