Adam Murray joins Wrens, Stags draw Chesterfield in Trophy tie

Stags mdfielder and assistant manager Adam Murray has joined Rainworth Miners Welfare on a one month loan deal.
The 31-year-old, who has made only one league appearance for the Stags this season, was available to play in the Wrens’ away match at Newcastle Town in the Evo-Stik League Northern Premier today.

Murray was made available for loan last week after requesting to play regular first team football, manager Paul Cox confirmed.

Stags today landed a dream Johnstone Paints Trophy second round tie at home to local rivals Chesterfield, likely to be played at One Call Stadium on Tuesday, 8th October.
