After failing to make a senior appearance for Wolves, the keeper went on to become the all-time leading appearance maker for the Stags, amassing a huge 513 appearances in all competitions.

Regularly classed as the club’s best ever goalkeeper, Arnold remained at the Stags for 11 years until his retirement in 1984 and played in two title-winning sides; the Fourth Division-winning team of 1975 and the Third Division winners of 1977.

Arnold spent nine years as a goalkeeping coach for Hull City after his retirement and in recent years has worked as an MC in one of the Tigers’ hospitality suites for home matches.

There will be the opportunity ask Rod your questions on the night as well as going head-to-head with him in a general knowledge quiz with the opportunity to win Stags’ merchandise.
