Four changes for Stags as Chesterfield come to town for Trophy tie

Stags made four changes for tonight’s rematch with local rivals Chesterfield in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy second round at the One Call Stadium.

Out went James Jennings, Ben Hutchinson, Ryan Tafazolli and Anthony Howell to be replaced by Junior Daniel, Lee Stevenson, Martin Riley, back from a three-game ban, and debut-making midfielder Keiran Murtagh.

This Trophy game came just 10 days after Stags’ superb 1-0 League Two win at Chesterfield.

STAGS: Marriott; Sutton, Riley, Dempster; Beevers, McGuire, Stevenson, Murtagh, Daniel; Clucas, Andrew. Subs: Rhead, Howell, Jennings, Meikle, Palmer.

CHESTERFIELD: Lee, Hird, Morsy, Cooper, O’Shea, Ryan, Devitt, Evatt, Porter, Edwards, McSheffrey. Subs: Banks, Darikwa, Togwell, Chapman, Brown.
