Nine Stags fans were given banning orders between 4th September 2014 and 8th September 2015.

Luton Town lead the way in League Two on 27 banning orders, followed by Hartlepool United (24), Shrewsbury Town (24), Plymouth Argyle (20) and Portsmouth (15).

Last season’s champions Burton Albion, Accrington Stanley and Cheltenham Town all had the fewest with no banning orders in place.

The number of football banning orders in England and Wales has fallen for the fourth year in a row.

There were a total of 2,181 active banning orders in England and Wales between 4th September 2014 and 8th September 2015.

Newcastle United’s fans still lead the way nationally with 132 banning orders, followed by Chelsea (79), West Ham (67), Millwall (64), Bristol City (62), Leeds (58) and Cardiff (56).
