Mansfield Town legend Sandy Pate opens up new stadium restaurant

Former Stags legend Sandy Pate officially opened Mansfield Town Football Club’s newly refurbished supporters bar last Friday, which is now open as a seven-day-a-week restaurant.

The ex-Mansfield full-back joined invited guests who enjoyed a buffet in the modern-looking sports bar which is located at the rear of the main Ian Greaves Stand.

After being renovated at a cost of £80,000 in the summer, the bar is now widely recognised as one of the finest facilities in the Football League.

It is now open to the general public from noon until 11pm from Monday to Sunday, with food being served from 12noon until 9pm,

On matchdays, between 12noon and 5.00pm, only supporters with a valid match ticket will be able to gain access to the Sandy Pate Bar. The bar will then re-open to the general public afterwards.
