Mansfield Town sign new sponsorship deal with Ollerton company A1 Flue Systems

A New Ollerton company has agreed a sponsorship deal with Mansfield Town Football Club.

A1 Flue Systems has taken advertising space on the Bishop Street stand at the Sky Bet League Two club’s ground for the rest of the season – much to the delight of its 130-strong workforce.

The company – which is the UK market leader in the design, manufacture and installation of commercial and industrial chimney, flue and exhaust systems – already has strong links with grassroots football in the area but jumped at the chance to support the Stags.

Directors TJ Moir and John Hamnett said that they were impressed with the way that Commercial Manager Paul Nyland was reaching out to the local business community to make it very easy for them to get behind the club.

“A1 Flue Systems has always been a strong supporter of sport in our community and we sponsor a local football club in Ollerton, Walesby Juniors FC Under 13’s and a roller hockey team, the Boughton Blizzards,” said TJ. “So supporting Mansfield Town was an easy decision for us and we’re delighted that A1 Flue Systems is now officially a supporter of the club.”

“Taking advertising space at the Stags has been the talk of the factory and it’s met with resounding support from all quarters at A1. I know that a lot of our staff go to One Call Stadium to follow the team, so they’ll be able to see our signage.”

Mansfield Town’s Commercial Manager Paul Nyland said: “I would like to thank A1 Flue Systems for their backing this season. It’s great to see a local manufacturer showing their support to their town’s local football club.

“A1 Flue Systems demonstrates innovation and quality, making it an attractive partner for Mansfield Town Football Club.”

The Stags sponsorship follows a clutch of prestigious award wins and news that the company is to start exporting to the Middle East in 2014 after working closely with UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) to organise a schedule of appointments in the United Arab Emirates.
