Micky Moore rejoins Mansfield Town

Micky Moore has re-joined Mansfield Town Football Club this morning in the role of first team coach, the Stags have announced.
The 40-year-old has left his post as assistant manager of Nuneaton Town, where he has helped guide the club to fifth in the Conference Premier division.

The ex-Solihull Moors boss played a key role as Paul Cox’s number two in the 2011-12 Conference Premier season, when the Stags team finished third in the league, and was defeated only five times throughout that campaign.

On returning to One Call Stadium, Micky told www.mansfieldtown.net: “I’m glad to be back. Mansfield is a fantastic club with a fantastic set of supporters and chairman, who has a long-term vision of success. I want to be a part of history at Mansfield Town and help take the club forward. I am coming here to enhance the coaching staff and to help the manager.

“I leave Nuneaton Town in fifth position in the Conference Premier, the highest ranked part-time club in English football, who have been defeated on only five occasions this season.

“I am pleased with my efforts at Nuneaton - they are an excellent club. But this is a new project for me and one which I am very much looking forward to.”
