Stags confident, but Nuneaton game facing a second pitch inspection

Mansfield Town will know this afternoon if their match against Nuneaton Town has been given the green light.
The title-chasing Stags say they are very confident that the match will be played following a 10.45am pitch inspection, but local referee Dave Plowright has said that a final look at the playing surface is required, which will take place at 1pm this afternoon.
Mr Plowright said: “The game is 90 per cent on, looking at it now. But there are a few areas that need drying out and that may take a few hours.”

Stags have lost their last two games, at Wrexham last Tuesday and at home to Stockport last Saturday, to the weather.
