With Jamie McGuire suspended after his red card in Saturday’s 2-0 defeat at Shrewsbury, Fergus Bell came back into central midfield, playing just behind the strikers.

With loanee Danny Carr going back to Huddersfield since the weekend, Rakish Bingham came back into the front line.

And, with parent club Derby County not wanting loanee Keiron Freeman to become cup-tied, Stags brought Liam Marsden back in as a wing back.

Stags were without a win in eight games while Rangers were in good form with just one loss in their last 14 matches.

Mansfield had also struggled for goals, netting just three times in those eight games.

The first attempt to play this game was hit by heavy rain a week last Saturday.
