VIDEO - Stags Talk: Is Matt Green back in business and do Mansfield Town need another striker?

Although he drew a blank on Tuesday night against Exeter City, Mansfield Town fans will be hoping talisman striker Matt Green has got his goals touch back after a brace against Hartlepool United last weekend ended his eight-game drought.

Green, who scored 54 goals in two seasons in his last spell with the club, culminating in winning the Conference title, suffered an ill-fated two years at Birmingham where he was struck down by injury.

Green may still be on the recovery road, but now has six to his name this season and the full backing of manager Adam Murray, who is confident the striker can further enhance his legendary status at the club.

Some fans still have their doubts and are calling on Murray to bring in a loan striker to bolster a side that has now failed to score in six of seven outings.
