An experienced stopper arrives at The City Ground after leaving Bristol City at the end of last season. He had been training with Sheffield United but has put pen to paper following interest from Forest.

He said: “It’s a great feeling. It is a fantastic club as everybody knows and I have been quite patient this summer to determine my next move. For this to come about at just the right time was fantastic for me and hopefully I can do everybody proud so it is a really good feeling.”

And added: “I wanted to come here for many reasons; the history, I have always enjoyed playing here and when a club like Nottingham Forest come asking for you, straight away your ears prick up and it is a real honour to have that put in front of you. It was an easy decision once it was official that they wanted me so it was done quite quickly.”
