Notts County sign former Huddersfield Town striker James Spencer

Notts County Football Club have signed former Huddersfield Town striker James Spencer until the end of the current campaign.

Spencer was released by the Terriers ahead of the transfer window’s closure, which has allowed him to join Notts on a permanent deal.

Highly rated by the County management team, the 22-year-old will add quality to the County attack ahead of a crucial few months for the club.

Spencer will wear the number 16 shirt at Meadow Lane and will be in contention for a start in this weekend’s Sky Bet League 1 encounter with Coventry City.
