“We have an education programme,” said FITC director Mark Hemingray.

“It’s a B-Tec Level Three extended diploma in sport. It’s tied in with Futsal and it’s a two-year programme. We have Mark Link and Scott Rogers as the teacher and the coach and we’re looking to recruit for it.

“This is a good opportunity for someone to come and get involved. If anyone is interested , get in touch either through Mark Link or Scott Rogers or you can email us at communityatmansfieldtown.net and we will get back to you and get something set up for the next two years in an education programme.”

He explained: “It is a good, well-organised course with two good people running it and the football is very well organised.

“You play every Wednesday afternoon in the games programme at Birmingham.

“The three teams we’ve had in it this year are all top of their league.

“It is for youngsters aged 16 up to 18. It is run over a first year and a second year.”
