David Flitcroft’s squad will be on the training pitch at One Call Stadium (adjacent to the 3G surface) from approximately 11am on the aforementioned date.

The stadium will be open from 10am and, after the training session, from around 12.15pm, Stags’ fans can then meet the squad in the club’s 1861 Suite in a signing/photo sitting.

Club CEO Carolyn Radford said: “This is always a great day, especially for families.

“David and the players are really looking forward to training in front of our fans and meeting them afterwards for signing and photo opportunities.

“We all know that success can only be achieved with a one-club, one-cause mentality.

“It’ll be another day where we all come together as a football club ahead of a hotly-awaited new season.

“We pride ourselves on being a friendly, family club and this day is perfect for families, with plenty to do and see.

“We want as many people as possible to come and enjoy the day with us. Everyone is welcome at Mansfield Town Football Club.”

Due to the training session, the usual access to the dressing room areas will be prohibited this season.

The Sandy Pate Bar will be serving a wide-range of food and drink.

Hot beef and pork cobs with roast potatoes and gravy will be served outside the bar for £4.95.

There will also be a variety of children’s rides, bouncy castles, as well as activities around One Call Stadium.

Additionally, Football in the Community will assemble their ‘speed tunnel’, where fans can test the velocity of their shots!
