Six of the best kept HUCKNALL TOWN UNDER-16S on course for the Notts Youth League, Sunday First Division championship.

For they strolled to a 6-0 victory at Bestwood Park Rangers to make it six wins from seven matches. Town’s goals were shared by man-of-the-match Kieran Orange (2), Ethan Barnes, Adam Morley, Zachuriah Newbury and Jacon Rizdon.

CARELESS BULWELL ATHLETIC UNDER-16S RED let slip a 2-0 half-time lead at Netherfield Boys Blue in the Sunday Third Division. Goals from Joshua Pickering and Brandon Stapley and a man-of-the-match display by Adam Henrys put Athletic in the driving seat, only for substitutes Dylan Miles and Hashil Murshid to earn the home team a 2-2 draw.

THE battle of Dunkirk will be remembered as a losing one for HUCKNALL SPORTS UNDER-16S WHITE in the Saturday First Division. For they went down 5-2 at home to Dunkirk Colts.

Sports were all-square at 1-1 at half-time before succumbing to goals from Curtis Millward (2), Sam Osborne (2) and Tyrone Bradshaw. The locals’ consolations were netted by Jarrod Davies and James Hallam, while their man-of-the-match award went to Matthew Leivers.

THE GOALS flowed when tabletopping ROLLS-ROYCE LEISURE UNDER-15S travelled to Wollaton Hall in the Saturday First Division. It finished 6-4 to Rolls, whose man-of-the-match Sam Jackson bagged four of the ten strikes. Adam Loydall and Moziah Selassie were also on target.

UNBEATEN LINBY RANGERS UNDER-15S sprang a surprise in the Saturday Cup, knocking out a team two divisions higher. Thanks to goals from Ryan Butler, Liam Hopson and Callum Gillan, Linby won 3-0 at Dunkirk Colts.

A DOUBLE by Ryan Wood preserved the unbeaten record of LINBY RANGERS UNDER-15S in the Sunday Second Division. They drew 2-2 at at Ravenshead Reds.
