Callum Elder’s loan with Mansfield Town from Premier League side Leicester City has been extended by a further month.
The 20-year-old left-back has featured on 11 occasions since joining Adam Murray’s team and his looping long throws helped record victories in the Stags’ recent games against Newport County and Dagenham & Redbridge.
“Callum has been excellent in every period of his loan so far,” said manager Adam Murray. “He’s somebody who I believe will go on and play at a much higher level.
“We’ve obviously thanked Leicester in previous months (for allowing him to stay) and we do so again because it’s a privilege for us to have somebody of his stature at the club.”
Elder’s loan with Mansfield Town will now expire at midnight on Saturday, 11th April.
