Matt Green is quicker than Lionel Messi, according to the new FIFA 17 ratings.
The popular football video game, scheduled for release next week, rates the Stags striker as the best player at the One Call Stadium.
But the compliments don’t stop there as Green is given an overall speed score of 90 - one more than five-time Ballon d’Or winner Lionel Messi.
The Barcelona star has better acceleration (92, Green 88) but the Stags man’s sprint speed is superior (91, Messi 87) when the stats are broken down.
It’s no wonder the Stags are keen to get speedy Green tied down to a longer deal, with reported interest in the striker over the summer.
