Steve Evans won't be getting too excited if Mansfield Town can pull off a first away win of the campaign at Carlisle United.

With a visit by Grimsby Town ahead next week, Evans stressed: “It is a tough run of games.

“But I said if after the first 10-12 games we could be in that top group we would get promoted – and I still believe that.

“But we’ll treat them in isolation.

“There will be no celebrations if we get a positive result and come back with three points from Carlisle. It’s a long season and about consistency over 46 games.”
