Free Sheffield Steelers ice hockey tickets for youngsters

Youngsters living in Mansfield and Ashfield can watch three Sheffield Steelers matches for free over the coming weeks.

As part of its North Nottinghamshire Community Partnership with the Sheffield Steelers, Mansfield company Hall-Fast is offering the free tickets to pupils and students and their parents and carers.

The offer kicks off today for the clash with Belfast Giants, and also includes the home matches on 1st December (v Fife Flyers) and 21st December (v Cardiff Devils).

When students or parents book, they will need to name the school or college, and when tickets are collected from the Motorpoint Arena prior to the game, some form of evidence of attending the school will be required

Hall-Fast managing director Malk Hall said: “This is the first of many great offers that young people from within the Mansfield and Ashfield area will benefit from over the next six months or so, in addition to the Steelers delivering coaching sessions to youngsters at the Sutton Sting Ice Hockey Club and pupils at the Fountaindale SEN School in Mansfield.

“It is our aim is to promote the game and the Steelers brand, whilst helping to deliver more top quality coaching across North Nottinghamshire for the benefit of local youngsters.”
