AFC Hucknall faced three games over the last week in the South Division of the Central Midlands League but could only take a point from clashes with Blidworth Welfare, Mickleover Royals and Pinxton.
Hosting Mickleover, two fine saves by James Beddingham kept them in touch until a free header from a corner put the visitors in front just before half-time.
Royals went two up when they intercepted a pass and a ball through the middle was well finished for 2-0.
Town responded well but had to wait until the 87th minute for a goal back when Sam Smith’s free-kick was side-footed home by 16-year-old sub Jake Thomas.
AFC then earned a 2-2 draw with Blidworth on Saturday, despite dominating for 75 minutes.
They took the lead before half-time when Ben Middleton turned his marker to find the net.
Blidworth were level on 75 when a mistake led to the equaliser, only for Jamie Brown to put AFC back in front with a fine effort after cutting in from the right.
But then another error gifted Blidworth possession and their striker was able to level the scores once more.
Finally, at Pinxton on Tuesday, AFC lost 2-1 despite a mature performance, Clifford Butau with their goal.
