BULWELL teacher Caroline ‘Cee’ Oliver has taken third position at the World Classic Bodybuilding Championships in Bulgaria.

Cee (right in the photo), who lives in Arnold but teaches physical education at Bulwell Academy on Hucknall Lane, has already enjoyed a successful year with some impressive displays at events across Europe.

And at the most recent in Sofia, she came third behind a Russian and a Ukrainian — improving on an eighth place gained at the last world championships in October.

She said: “Bulwell Academy sponsored me to attend all my international competitions this season, which has been fantastic.

“The event in Sofia was a brilliant experience and to go from eighth to third in the space of just a few weeks is an amazing achievement. I’m still in shock that all my hard work and dedication has paid off.

“I’m now awaiting the news to see if I have gained my Pro card which will enable me to compete in the USA, as the best athletes do, to become a contender for the Olympia stage!”

Cee has also been invited by the MD of Body Power to be a guest at the National Fitness Awards, and also has photo shoots planned with new sponsors at M10 in Nottingham city centre this weekend.
