A SHOCK hammering for leaders Crafty Conny has seen them knocked off their perch at the summit of the HUCKNALL SUMMER DOMINOES LEAGUE table.

Conny were whitewashed 5-0 by Shamrock — a team who have endured a topsy-turvy season, winning four and losing four of their eight outings.

It meant the door was open for Bestwood Village Social Club to take over at the top on leg-difference.

And they didn’t disappoint with back-to-back wins — the latest coming via a narrow 3-2 victory against defending champions Talk Of The Town, who now find themselves four points behind the leaders in third place and among a pack of four teams locked on ten points.

These include Station Hotel (Hucknall) B and George Street Working Mens Club B, who played each other in the latest fixtures with Station winning 3-2.

The other is the aforementioned Shamrock.

In other results, Conny A beat Royal British Legion 3-2 and rock-bottom Station PH went down 4-1 against Bentinck Club.
