Dennis Hall swept to victory in HUCKNALL ANGLERS’ latest Sunday match on the Moat lake at Rycroft Fisheries in Hemington.

Hall headed a good turnout of 20 anglers to weigh in with 55lb 11oz. Other returns were: Brad Livock 41-5, Lee Woodings 32-0, Pat Hall 27-13, Tom Bakewell 27-7, Rob Daws 25-12, Paul Machin 21-14, Dave Clarke 20-0, Andy Davis 19-4, Liam Marciniak 18-5, Dudley Young 16-2, Danny Giles 14-0, Terry Coltart 11-7, George Woodings 10-5, Alan Birch 6-6, Brian Cross 3-10 and Ray Pickin 1-9. Three members, Arthur Daws, Ernie Davis and Derek Brough, did not weigh.

The club’s first Thursday match at their Goosedale headquarters in Bestwood Village was won by Darren Smith with 8lb 1oz, ahead of Brian Cross (2-9) and Dave Wayte (2-7).

Only four pounds separated the leading two in the latest match staged by the Hucknall-based KINGFISHER ANGLERS at the Goosedale Fishery, off Moor Road in Bestwood Village.

John Pettit weighed in with 20lb 6oz to edge out John White (20-2). Steve Walters was third with 16-0, followed by Peter Smith (9-12) and Cliff Hallatt (8-5).
